  • Every successful mission starts with a conversation. Before we embark on a new project, we schedule a quick chat to get to know each other, understand your goals, and ensure we are the right crew for the journey. You do most of the talking while we listen, ask key questions, and explore every detail to set the foundation for a smooth launch.

  • At this stage, we have a clear understanding of your vision. We have mapped out a project scope and timeline for you to review, serving as the mission blueprint. This will give you a clear picture of the journey ahead. Once the scope is finalized, and contracts are signed, we can begin the next phase.

  • The next step is a candid, open conversation. Key questions help guide the discussion, but there is no single formula for uncovering the perfect brand. Our goal is to hear from each party involved to gain a full understanding of your brand, your unique perspective, and your needs, wants, goals, and expectations for our journey together. This is where we gather the data needed to chart the best course forward.

  • Not every design project requires brand strategy, but if yours does, this is our next step. We analyze your competitors and audit your existing brand, if applicable. From there, we will build a brand foundation that defines your messaging, ensuring you have a strong, strategic foundation to launch from and expand your brand’s orbit.

  • Before we ignite the creative engines, we conduct a visual gut check to ensure we are aligned. We assemble mood boards filled with visual and conceptual inspiration, helping us navigate the aesthetic direction for your brand. Together, we will discuss what feels right, refining the vision until it is mission-ready. These final selections will serve as our guiding star throughout the creative process.

  • Once the mood board is approved, we begin the creative work. The development of an initial logo can vary greatly but typically takes roughly 1 to 3 weeks. Timelines can vary depending on the project’s scope, schedules, and other factors. It’s all part of ensuring the design is perfectly calibrated before we launch into full orbit.

  • When building a new brand, we ensure that each identity option is both powerful and adaptable. Before sharing any options with you, we put each new design to the test by creating sample executions that showcase how all elements such as the logo, colors, typography, copywriting, and design elements work together in harmony. This allows us to see how the brand performs in real-world scenarios, ensuring it is ready for launch.

  • For a typical branding presentation, we focus on 2-3 identity directions. Instead of prioritizing quantity, we emphasize quality to ensure each option truly meets your needs. We’ll present logos and any other brand elements, offering a cohesive view of each direction. Presentations are done either in person or via video call, but you will also receive a PDF so you can review the presentation at your own pace and in your own time.

  • A standard project scope includes two rounds of revisions. This means you’ll review designs, provide feedback, see updated designs, and provide further feedback if needed, before we present the final designs for approval. If additional revisions are required beyond this point, an overage fee will be applied. This approach helps keep feedback clear and concise, ensuring the mission stays on course.

By now, we have a solid understanding of your vision. We have mapped out a project scope and timeline for you to review, your mission blueprint. This gives you a clear trajectory, but there is still room for adjustments to ensure everything aligns perfectly with your needs. Once the details are locked in, we will sign the contract and prepare for liftoff.

Discovery

Every mission begins with a discovery call. While we have key questions to guide the discussion, there is no single formula for uncovering the perfect brand. Our goal is to hear from everyone involved, gaining a full understanding of your brand, your unique perspective, and your needs, wants, goals, and expectations for our journey together. This is where we gather the data needed to chart the best course forward.

Positioning

Not every mission requires brand strategy, but if yours does, this is where we begin. We will analyze the competitive landscape and conduct a full audit of your existing brand if applicable. From there, we will build a brand platform that defines your messaging, ensuring you have a strong, strategic foundation to launch from and expand your brand’s orbit.
