  • Rather than following familiar esports trends, the identity focused on finding an unexpected animal that still represented power and competitiveness. Research led to the ostrich, an animal known for its immense speed, sharp talons, and devastating kick. The result was a brand direction that balanced intimidation, personality, and originality within the gaming space.

  • The primary logo features an intimidating ostrich staring down its competition, reflecting Chopstix’s competitive presence while streaming fast-paced multiplayer games. A custom angular wordmark reinforces speed and aggression, while a secondary 8-bit ostrich extends the identity into playful digital applications. Dark navy, electric blue, and white create strong contrast across screens.

  • The identity system expands across stream overlays, social graphics, merchandise, and animated assets. Ostrich footprints create repeatable patterns throughout the interface, while an egg-shaped frame is used as a clipping mask for the facecam during streams. The secondary 8-bit ostrich appears in visuals inspired by the dinosaur game that appears when the browser is offline, adding personality throughout the brand world.
