Where ideas take shape
Mews is a hospitality management platform built to transform how hotels and spaces operate. But as the category grew, so did the noise – with platforms blending into one another through similar claims, features and messaging. Mews needed a brand that could clearly articulate its impact, and reflect the scale, ambition and difference of its product. Challenge accepted.

Ária Arquitectos is an architecture studio founded in 2020 in Durango, Mexico. Specializing in architectural design and construction, the firm creates tailored solutions for homes, commercial spaces, and buildings. As the studio matured and began attracting larger projects, the founders sought a more recognizable identity that reflected the professionalism and quality of their work.
Ária's original branding no longer aligned with the direction of the studio and lacked the flexibility needed for future growth. Relying on a single logo across every application limited the brand's ability to adapt and express itself. The goal was to establish a more structured identity system that communicated professionalism, stability, and innovation while providing greater versatility.
Two separate forms combine to create an abstract "A," representing the studio's two founders while introducing a stronger sense of structure and foundation. Paired with the typeface Pridi in lowercase, the identity distinguishes itself from the all-caps sans serifs common throughout the industry. A restrained palette of white, grey, navy, and blue reinforces trust, professionalism, and timeless appeal.
The identity system was designed with both print and digital applications in mind. From social media and proposals to printed materials and merchandise, the flexible logomark creates opportunities for a wide range of layouts and compositions. This adaptability gives Aria the freedom to showcase its work with more personality than the traditionally restrained architecture industry.
Muchas gracias to Adrian and his partner at Ária Arquitectos for trusting Overland Design Co. with this project. It was a privilege to help shape an identity that reflects the quality of their work, and we wish the studio continued success as they bring new ideas to life throughout Durango and beyond.

Coverage Factory
Gear up for better insurance
The Coverage Factory is an independent insurance agency built around customized policies, not cookie-cutter plans. But in a market dominated by large, recognizable brands, their messaging lacked memorability and distinction. While their offering was stronger and more personal, their brand didn’t reflect that value. They needed a cohesive identity that could scale, stand out, and clearly communicate their difference.
We leaned into their name and reframed their positioning. Instead of rejecting generic insurance, we positioned them as builders of better coverage. Factory language, gears, and motion became the foundation of both visual and verbal identity. The tone shifted to confident and direct, emphasizing precision, customization, and ease. The result was a system built around the idea of a frictionless process.
The identity expands on existing gear elements, turning them into a core brand asset. A spinning cog is integrated into the logo, reinforcing motion and function. Supporting icons use the cog to represent coverage types, creating a cohesive system. A bold palette of orange, navy, white, and blue ensures visibility and contrast. The typeface Alexandria balances modern clarity with approachability, supporting both strong headlines and clear communication.
The system translates across digital and physical touchpoints. Gear shapes frame photography, showcasing real people and real moments. Window decals and signage use bold color and simple messaging to attract attention from passing traffic. Social content uses motion and modular graphics to explain coverage quickly. Every application reinforces the same idea: a smarter, smoother way to build insurance.
